We Guarantee Your Success - Here's How:
We understand that as a law student, you've likely already invested countless thousands of dollars into tuition, expensive housing, books, supplements, and energy drinks. The last thing you want to do is waste your money.
That's why we offer our 3-part guarantee:
100% Satisfaction or 100% Money Back After Session One
If your Tier One attorney fails to live up to your expectations for any reason, simply send an email to within 48 hours of your first phone, online, or in-person interaction with the attorney (or within 48 hours of the your attorney's first critique of your submitted legal work, whichever comes first), informing us that you'd like to cancel your enrollment and receive a refund. We'll credit your enrollment fee back to your card in full. You'll be able to keep any materials we've already given you. Please note that for distance-learning students who choose to correspond entirely via email, video conference, or telephone, you must cancel within 48 hours of your first distance-learning session or within 48 hours of your receipt of the first electronic submission that your attorney-instructor reviews and returns to you, whichever occurs first. This guarantee applies to all Tier One students, regardless of the package option purchased.
Exam Results 100% Money Back Guarantee - A Win-Win For You
For students enrolling in the Premium (12-hour) or Intensive (24-hour) plan at least four weeks prior to their first final exam of the semester for which Tier One Exam Prep coaching is sought (the "enrollment semester"), we offer the following guarantee:
We guarantee that your overall law school grade point average ("GPA") for the enrollment semester (including all grades from all law school courses taken during the semester) will be higher than the overall law school GPA that you held at the end of the previous semester (including all grades from law school courses you took during that semester). That is, if you use Tier One for Spring 2017, we guarantee that your overall law school GPA at the end of Spring 2017 will be higher than your overall law school GPA at the end of Fall 2016. This guarantee is subject to the exception that if your enrollment semester GPA would have been equal to or higher than the previous semester's GPA but for your grade in a legal research or writing course or an elective course, then the guarantee will not apply. Apart from that exception, if your enrollment semester GPA is equal to or lower than your previous semester's GPA, you will receive 100% of your money back. Please note that summer, winter, and any partial enrollment periods do not count as semesters.
When you enroll in the 12-hour or 24-hour plan and submit your enrollment form, please ask to participate in the "GPA Guarantee" program. To qualify, you must complete a total of at least 60 hours of practice law school exams during the course of the semester. At least 30 hours of the practice law school exams must be completed prior to your first final exam of the semester. The remaining practice exams must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your last final exam of the semester. "Completed" means sent to your instructor by email. For the purpose of this Exam Results Guarantee, "hours" are defined as the number of hours allocated to each exam problem as listed on the face of the exam problem itself, or, if no time allocation is listed, as reasonably directed by your attorney-instructor. For example, you may fulfill this requirement by completing 20 three-hour practice exams, or by completing 100 36-minute practice exam problems, or by some combination thereof. For students enrolled in five courses, this represents a minimum of 4 three-hour practice exams per enrolled course, on average. Please note that there will be no exceptions made to this policy; because individuals vary greatly in their test-taking strengths and weaknesses, the only way we can guarantee an increase in your GPA is by helping you complete a large quantity of practice exam problems, supplemented by targeted critique and skill development under the guidance of your attorney-instructor. Please note that you will become ineligible for the Exam Results Guarantee if you fail a course due to unauthorized absences, unauthorized withdrawal, disciplinary violations, or sanctions including but not limited to academic integrity sanctions, nor will you be eligible if the sole reason for failing to have a higher GPA in the second semester is a lower grade in Legal Writing or a course graded on the basis of a paper rather than an exam. Please email if you have additional questions about the guarantee.
First-Semester 1L Guarantee
As an incoming 1L, you won't have a prior semester of law school grades to qualify you for our Exam Results Guarantee program. However, should you enroll in the 12-hour or 24-hour plan, you'll be eligible for our First Semester Guarantee program. Quite simply, if you do not pass all of your classes, you'll receive a 100% money-back refund. Please note that failing grades due to unauthorized absences, unauthorized withdrawals, disciplinary violations, or sanctions including but not limited to academic integrity sanctions will not qualify for the First Semester Guarantee.
